Questions & answers

Below you will find answers to the questions we are asked most often about the app.

Questions & answers

We have put together answers to the questions people ask most often.

Use the dashboard to look at all your wines or at a single storage location. One click takes you from a dashboard figure to the filtered wines in the wine overview.

If something is unclear, you have an idea, or you find a bug, you can send it through this function at any time. Or email support@dwiner.com.

Follow every change in your stock in the digital cellar book. Additions, removals, transfers and notes are there from the day you register. Share what matters by email or social media.

Under My data, wine overview, you see all your cellars including the bottle count and you can rename them. You can also add as many wines as your plan allows.

Under My data, producers, you see your producers and the DWINER catalogue, including bottle counts. You can edit your own entries and add details. You can also create producers here. DWINER catalogue producers cannot be edited.

Use import to enter or paste your wines into Excel and upload the file. If a value is wrong or missing, the app suggests an alternative. You can then run as many imports as you need per storage location.

The Excel template lists every wine field. Fill them with free text or a choice. You can also paste data from another list.

If many of your wines share a property (for example 90 percent red wine), set that before the import and only fill the wine type in Excel where it differs.

If a value is wrong or missing, the app suggests an alternative, and you can then import as often as you need per storage location.

Under Payments you see the status of your subscription. You can choose a monthly or yearly plan (Free, Premium, Exklusiv). A subscription can be cancelled and then ends at the close of the period already paid. Until then you can keep using the app.

Prices are here. There is no trial period; you start on Free and upgrade in the app when you need to.

Changes and later messages are shown on the Messages page.

In your profile you can update and add to your personal details. You also see a chart of how the value of your stock changes.

Adding a wine is split into general wine data, cellar details and further details. You do not need the further details to save a wine.

At the start there is a field “Search wine / choose a template”. It searches the DWINER catalogue and your own stock, including wines you no longer hold.

The form is split into general wine data, cellar details and further details. Details are optional. If a producer or grape variety is missing, you can add it while you create the wine.

A label scanner makes adding a wine faster. Scan the label and work from the suggested details. You check the result before it is saved.

Create as many wine lists as you need, for a tasting or a sales list for example. You set the order and you can archive lists you want to keep.

On the wine lists page, “+” adds a list. “-” deletes a list and its entries. A finished list can be archived and stays available.

On export you set the title, extra information and numbering for the PDF. You choose the columns and drag them into the order you want.

In the wine overview you can open “Show current figures”. It recalculates the totals for whatever filter and search you have set.

With “Filter wines” you can search and narrow the list. For each property you can pick one or more values (for example 750 ml and 1500 ml). Filters can be combined with the search field.

In the wine overview you can move some or all of a wine to another compartment or cellar. On the row, use the three-dot menu on the right.

In the wine overview you can reduce or increase the stock of any wine. On the row, use “-” or “+”, then add details about the movement.

In the wine overview you can edit any wine. On the row, open the three-dot menu on the right and choose Edit. You return to the overview afterwards.

In the wine overview you can look up more details on the web for a wine. On the row, open the three-dot menu on the right.

If a merchant is stored on the wine, you can search those details on the web from the same three-dot menu.

From the current view: Export as many wines as the overview shows. After your search and filters, choose Export/list and then the current search or filter. Set the columns and you get the PDF.

From a selection: Tick the wines you want. Then choose Export/list and Export selection.

You can add as many wines as you like to a list. After your search, tick the wines, choose Export/list and then Add to wine list.
